Pipe Break in Warren Living Room Ruins Carpet
The living room in this Warren home received water damage from a broken pipe that dumped a copious amount of water on the carpet. SERVPRO techs detected seepage into the subfloor and it required that the carpet and pad were removed for drying. Fortunately the seal around the bottom of the fireplace remained intact and there was no moisture found. As seen in the After Photo, once the subfloor got exposed, the techs used their air movers and dehumidifiers to dry the area rapidly. Afterward a thorough cleaning with their professional solutions eliminates the potential for any residual musty odors and preps the area for the installation of new a floor covering.
